It was 4:30 am and a cold morning of thrills were waiting for as “Hey get up its time to leave or else the bus would leave us and go” it was chinmay who was waking me up. We were at chinmay’s place at the night before. We here refer to chinmay, praneet and me. We three guys were best friends. Until chinmay and I had a fight between as. However, that does not have to do anything here. I got up from the bed and went to look for praneet I thought he would be sleeping as well but it was not so he was ready to leave. We didn’t even brush our teeth and left the home in 5 minutes. It was 4:35 really cold the street stray dogs were looking at as we had done some crime leaving so early. It was first time in my life I got up so early. We headed towards the nearby rickshaw stand, which was hardly 5 minutes from my home. Yes, chinmay and I stayed in the same area my building was 2 minutes from his house. Red bungalows 4 was the destination we need to reach, at normal time it would have coast us 25 bucks to get their. “Bhaiya red bungalows jana hai kitna loge”. It was me to ask not even completely waked up. “50 rupiya hoga”. We didn’t even to bother to bargain knowing that he was charging as much more. All the way to the place, none of us spoke out a word just we were looking out on the empty streets recalling everything. I wore a full low waist jeans and a maroon colored T-shirt. Chinmay was wearing a full track pant, and a full hand shirt, and the reason for such kind of dressing I would tell u later. Praneet the boy as always dressed up as if we were going out for a party; his sleeve less t-shirt was screaming out loud “Sorry girls I date only super models” I still don’t know why did he dressed up so and not forgetting his levis unbutton jeans. We reached the place and paid the auto driver, he was looking at as; as if we were terrorist. “Bloody rascal” it was praneet to mutter. It was almost after 30 minutes that some one of as spoke out. The area red bungalows was a place that was yet to be fully developed only few buildings were ready and only a little public used to leave their. Our building was the last one in the row and until what I remember only 12 families used to stay there. We went inside from the huge 10 feet gate where the security guard was sitting staring at as I gave him a fake smile so that he won’t enquire anything about as. We went towards the lift he was still looking at as we went inside the lift and saw him coming towards as we stood there. “Which flat no babu” he enquired. “604” I said trying to convince him. “How did u get here at this time” he was eager to know and we were sleepy. “Just have some work here in city” I told and before he could ask anything, I said “ok then good night”. He went away we closed the lift door. I opened the door of the flat as quietly as possible. We were inside the room at almost 5:15 am. “Thank god he didn’t enquire more or else we would have got caught” chinmay spoke out for the first time after waking me up he didn’t even speak to his mom while we left his house. Soon we found some bead sheets; we laid them on the floor and went to sleep.
“Get up stupid the door bell is ringing u told no one would appear here who the hell is at the door then get up bloody go and watch out” praneet was screaming me at me it was 8:15 in the morning and I was not willing to get up but I had no choice. Chinmay and praneet went in the bedroom and I peeped from the watch hole and saw the man came for collecting garbage. I told him to leave and went back to sleep. It was 9:45am in my watch I woke up chinmay and praneet were sitting in the balcony having tea and biscuits. “Where did u get the tea from and this biscuits did u take it from here” I was surprised as well as exited to know. “You see there down the chaiwala, we get this from there”. Chinmay was still silent he was playing the ‘roya re’ track on his cell. “How r u feeling you now” I enquired “Good now” he said. “Hey u lazy creature just get ready quickly go have a bath chinmay’s girlfriend would arrive around 10:30 am you get me” it was praneet. I was ready in 10 minutes. 10:05 in morning chinmay’s girlfriend was here. I opened the door slowly a women staying beside us saw me and chinmay’s girlfriend I don’t know what she thought about as but she smirked at him and I gave her a naughty smile. Chinmay’s girlfriend was wearing salwar kameejz, a pink salwar and white kameejz. She brought some snacks for as praneet and me didn’t bother to ask them and started eating. Chinmay’s girlfriend to tell about her she is a very good girl almost a wife you can say. Chinmay used to scold her always as if she was the only one in the whole world who used to committees mistakes. She would never say out a word to him, she truly loved him but he never cared about her. Chinmay’s girlfriend lived in the same building that of chinmay but only few people in his building know about their relation. They were in a relation from almost 7 years. You would think how a guy stayed in a relation for so long even when he did not like her much. Chinmay had altogether 4 girlfriend’s including shama. Shama did not know about his other girlfriend’s and so did the other three. Shama was 5 feet 5 inch tall, a little more in height than an average Indian girl. She was not very fair but was beautiful. Praneet and I had planed to leave them both and go to the play station. It was almost 10:40 we left the house. “I think he was drunk while driving, I think he was lying to us something” we were in lift and as usual praneet started talking. “Ye I too thought so” I said, “I am sure he was and I think he had race with those guys he went with, you know those guys?” praneet was over exited to know. “I know them they are his school friends, he asked me to go with him but I was busy so I didn’t go”. We reached the gate the security guard gave as a smile I gave him a smile back praneet didn’t responded. “You see I don’t like that security guard he is so ugly” praneet said aloud almost every one heard including the security guard. “Just shut your mouth a walk with me,” I said angrily. Praneet this guy is really a person you can depend upon. A person you can call as your true friend. I liked praneet more than chinmay but the only thing we hate about praneet was he talks non-stop and that to non-sense. There is nothing in this world that he can’t do (this is what he thinks). He can teach Mr. Bill gates to use a computer a choreographer to dance or Mr. Bacchan to act. He could talk to you no any topic in the world, that to in such kind that a professional in that field would think he is actually right. He can convince you that he is right even when you know he is talking completely wrong. From sports car to a local bicycle and even at what, rate the scrap dealer sells the scrap he knew everything. If you have a habit of listing such kind of things for hours then only you can stand him or else you might be in a fight with him the next moment. Leaving this bad habit of his, he is really true at heart. He had very big dreams but did nothing to achieve them. He just likes to spend money on useless activities. Doing thrills such as running in the middle of the highway, riding at a speed of 90 km/p in heavy traffic would excite him. Always ready for helping friends living life off the edge he was such type. He would come to help you even at mid night if you u call him. He didn’t have a girlfriend but use to tell us he have many. We always knew he was lying but never spoke out a word. We got a rickshaw after walking 5 minutes. We lived at the east side of the city and our city is not that big so we went to the west side of the city. At that time, almost all college boys were crazy about the play station so were we. Wwe smack down was the most favorite game then, we booked the TV for two hrs praneet was a champ in the game and I was just a beginner so I lost almost every game. The pre hour rate was 40 bucks. We played for more than two hrs as the game went on interesting to me; we had some chips and totally forgot about chinmay at home alone. It was 2:30 in the noon praneet had a call from chinmay at that time we realized that it was too late. “Hey when are you coming back, I m hungry bastards get me something to eat” it was chinmay on the phone he was yelling on praneet. We paid at the play station and took an auto from there to east side. We stopped at a small hotel and took rice plate for each, the food was not looking great but we didn’t have any option. The rice plate coast us 60.rs each that was cheap. We reached the place where we were living. “It’s me kedar open the door please” I said. My name is kedar didn’t I tell you before, praneet use to call me kedu and so other few people close to me. “Where the hell were you two I m starving you idiots and alone in this damn place from more than an hour, so u brought something to eat han what is it” it was chinmay a bit angry a happy that after all he was going to have something, he saw the bag of food in praneet’s hand. “Nothing very interesting to eat we got rice plate for each one of us, ok with you?” I said “Anything will do man just show me the food”. Chinmay the man because of whom we were here.5 feet 7 inch tall huge figure perfectly shaped body only a bit belly out of shape. This man like to live king style. He was quite more wealthy then praneet and me. His most loving thing in this world are sleeping and eating. He eats as much as praneet and I eats together. Unlike praneet, he is a less talkative person besides he is not always involved in the stupid activities that praneet and I use to do. Still chinmay had a huge friend circle. Praneet and I use to call him a gambler. He never ever said truth to anyone not even his parents or any one of his girlfriend. He was studies hating & fun loving person just as praneet and me. Moreover, I think this was the reason why we three were best friends. Chinmay always had some plans in his mind that we two use to follow bunking the college. Chinmay was 4 years elder to praneet and me but we never felt so. Chinmay was in politics also and so had contact to some VIP’s. He used to drink occasionally that even was known by his parents. He was good at heart but a bit selfish. It was just two months back that he got a new bike from his parents. The only bike in our group. We used to rome triple seat in the city as all the police officers knew him so no body ever caught us. “You didn’t get the spoons, what you think how I am supposed to eat” chinmay the brat as always want a spoon to eat. “You want a spoon right go then get it yourself,” I said angrily. “Hey chill man I can manage it” “You have to; it’s not our home to get everything”. Its was 4:00 pm in the noon we threw the left over food from the window. “I think we should rest now the hospital is far away from here well go there at around 6pm” it was praneet. We both were sleepy too so we didn’t argue and laid the bed sheets to have a small nap. It was 5:30 in noon we woke up and went down to have sip of tea and some biscuits. Praneet had his tea fast and went to search an auto for us because chinmay could not walk so far. He soon returned with an auto.We sat in the auto for the hospital, which was on the high way 15 minutes for our place. The auto driver was told to drive slowly so that it won’t heart chinmay. It took us 25 minutes to get there, the hospital was a small one we thought that it would be cheap, but we were wrong. The doctor saw chinmay “Accident, fell from the bike right na?” the doctor said “Yes” it was chinmay “The dressing needs to e changed,” he said. “Ye we know that we are here for that only” praneet as always knew everything ,yes we were there for changing the dress up even I knew that but you are not expected to show your smartness in front of some one professional but you praneet he is the same always. The nurse took chinmay for dressing we followed her. The nurse was a young girl almost the age of chinmay she was good looking had a nice face cut and cute little eyes. Our hero Mr. Chinmay started to flirt with her followed by praneet. These guys won’t give up anywhere they see a girl. She didn’t talk to them much but the both continued their job. The dressing was done almost in 15 minutes with a lot of pain and some silly jokes to make the girl impress. The doctor took 200 bucks, which was too much for our pockets we got the medicines from the chemist near to the hospital, which coast us, another 300 bucks. We were back to our temporary so called home the red bungalows. It was 8 pm. We had nothing to do the ‘roya re’ track was still running on chinmay’s phone and talking about our college which was going on. “Hey tell me the truth you were drunk right?” it was praneet I don’t what he was thinking he asked suddenly. “Tell us exactly what happened and how”.
